3D Real Estate Photography Prices in Las Vegas: What You're Paying For by Rick Rowland at RCRdigital

If you're comparing 3D real estate photography prices in Las Vegas, you've probably noticed the quotes don't line up neatly. One company bundles everything into a single number, another lists a dozen add-ons, and a third just says "call us." This guide explains how pricing for standard photos, 360 imagery, and 3D tours is usually put together, so you can compare quotes fairly and decide what your listing actually needs.

We've already covered what listing agents actually get from a Zillow 3D home tour. This post is about the money side: what you're paying for, and why.

How real estate photography pricing is usually structured

Most real estate photography pricing in the Las Vegas Valley follows the same basic model: a base photography package priced by home size, plus optional add-ons. The base package covers the core interior and exterior stills that go on the MLS. Everything else, including drone, 3D tours, floor plans, twilight, and video, gets layered on top.

Some photographers sell fixed bundles ("Gold," "Platinum," and so on) that combine several of those items. Bundles can be convenient, but they make comparisons harder because you may be paying for pieces you don't need. When you get a bundle quote, ask for the line items behind it.

What drives the cost of a shoot

3D real estate photography prices: Matterport vs. Zillow 3D

"3D tour" can mean two quite different products, and the price difference reflects that.

Matterport-style tours are captured with a dedicated 3D camera and produce a walkable model of the home with a dollhouse view. Pricing is usually tied to square footage, and you should ask who hosts the tour afterward. Hosting can be an ongoing cost, and whoever owns the hosting account controls how long the tour stays live.

Zillow 3D tours are captured for Zillow's own platform and attach directly to the Zillow listing. Zillow hosts them, so there's no separate hosting fee, and they often include an interactive floor plan. They are generally the less expensive option, but they live mainly on Zillow.

When you compare 3D quotes, check four things: the square footage cap, whether hosting is included and for how long, whether a floor plan is included, and whether the tour can be purchased on its own or only with photos.

Real estate 360 photography pricing

360 photography is lighter than a full 3D tour. Instead of a connected walkable model, you get individual panoramic images of key rooms that viewers can spin around in. Real estate 360 photography pricing is usually lower than a full 3D scan, and it's often charged per panorama or as a small add-on. It can work well for highlighting a great room, a backyard, or a view without paying for a full model. Just be clear about which product a quote describes, because some companies use "360 tour" and "3D tour" interchangeably.

What our pricing looks like

Here at RCRdigital, our Las Vegas real estate photography pricing is published openly. As currently listed on that page:

So for a 2,200 sq ft home, photos plus a Zillow 3D tour would come to $175, and photos plus a Matterport tour would be $200*, based on the listed rates. Check the pricing page for current figures, and contact us for a quote on larger or unusual properties.

How to compare quotes

Line the quotes up item by item for the same scope: the same square footage, the same add-ons, and the same turnaround. A low base price paired with expensive add-ons can end up costing more than a slightly higher package with cheaper extras. Also look at a provider's recent portfolio for homes like yours. Price matters, but the photos are what buyers see first.

When 3D is worth paying for

A 3D tour makes the most sense when buyers are likely to shop remotely, for example relocation buyers, out-of-state investors, and second-home shoppers. It also helps when the floor plan is a selling point or hard to understand from photos alone. For a smaller, simple listing, solid photos and a floor plan may be enough. Given the small add-on cost of a Zillow 3D tour compared with the photo package itself, many agents treat it as a low-risk extra rather than a big decision.

Frequently asked questions

Why do 3D real estate photography prices vary so much?

Mostly because of the product (Matterport vs. Zillow 3D vs. 360 panoramas), square footage caps, hosting terms, and whether the tour is bundled with photos. Compare the same scope across quotes.

Is real estate 360 photography pricing cheaper than a 3D tour?

Usually, yes. 360 panoramas are simpler to capture and deliver than a full walkable 3D model. You get less, though: individual rooms rather than a connected walkthrough.

Does real estate photography pricing include drone shots?

Not always. Many providers, including us, list drone as a separate add-on. Check whether it's in the base price before comparing.

Do I pay before or after the shoot?

It depends on the provider. At RCRdigital, most services have no up-front charge: you review the proofs and pay once you approve them.
