If you've searched for Rick Rowland, you're probably an agent, broker, or property manager trying to figure out who actually shows up to shoot your listing. That's a fair question. A lot of photography companies send whoever is free that day. At RCRdigital, it's me. I'm Rick Rowland, and I personally capture and deliver every shoot we book across the Las Vegas Valley.
This post is a straight answer to "who is Rick Rowland" and what that means for your listings: my background, what I shoot, how I work, and how to know if we're a good fit.
Who Is Rick Rowland?
I'm a Las Vegas real estate photographer and the founder of RCRdigital. I've spent more than 10 years focused on real estate photography, covering both residential and commercial property. On the residential side, that means everything from condos and starter homes to estates in Summerlin, Henderson, Southern Highlands, and The Ridges. On the commercial side, it's office, retail, industrial, medical, multi-family, mixed-use, and new construction.
RCRdigital isn't a network of contractors. When you book, you get me on site. That keeps the work consistent from one listing to the next, and it means the person you talk to about the shoot is the same person holding the camera.
A Zillow Showcase Photographer With Time Inside Zillow
Before RCRdigital became my full focus, I spent three years working remotely as an employee of Zillow. During that time, my capture methods, lighting, and spatial capture work were reviewed and approved by Zillow's quality assurance and engineering teams. I learned the visual standards and interactive features the platform is built around, including Zillow 3D Home tours and interactive floor plans.
Today I work as a Zillow Showcase photographer for Las Vegas agents. The process is simple on your end: you send me an invite through the platform, and I handle the capture, the build-out, and the delivery of your Showcase listing. You don't have to learn the technical setup yourself.
I won't promise that Showcase sells a house. Price, condition, and location still do most of that work. What I can promise is that your listing media is captured the way the platform expects it, so you aren't fighting your own photos.
Four Years Inside a Commercial Brokerage
My commercial work comes from more than photographing buildings. I spent four years working inside the corporate side of a commercial real estate brokerage, for the company that owned NAI Las Vegas. I worked day to day with brokers, property managers, marketing directors, and in-house graphic designers.
That taught me how commercial photos actually get used. They go into offering memorandums, pitch decks, investor presentations, and listings on LoopNet, CoStar, and CREXI. A designer laying out an OM needs specific shots: clean elevations, parking and access, signage, loading, and aerial context. I shoot with that end product in mind, which we call corporate capture.
What Rick Rowland Shoots in Las Vegas
Here's what you can book with RCRdigital:
Photos are typically delivered within 24 to 48 hours, formatted for MLS and the major commercial platforms. Next-day delivery is available on photos.
How I Work on a Shoot
Real estate runs on schedules, access windows, and sellers who would rather not have a stranger in the house all afternoon. So I keep it practical:
Residential marketing leans on lifestyle and how a home feels. Commercial marketing leans on function and investment value. I adjust the shot list for each, because a family home and a flex industrial building shouldn't be photographed the same way.
Areas I Cover
I work throughout the Las Vegas Valley. On the residential side, that includes Summerlin, Henderson, Green Valley, Southern Highlands, The Ridges, Southwest Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, and downtown condos and lofts. On the commercial side, it includes downtown offices, the Strip corridor, Henderson business parks, Summerlin campuses and retail, the airport corridor, and North Las Vegas industrial and logistics.
Is Rick Rowland the Right Photographer for Your Listing?
We're probably a good fit if you want the same photographer every time, care about how your media performs on Zillow or on LoopNet, CoStar, and CREXI, and need fast, predictable turnaround. If you just need the cheapest possible snapshots, I'm likely not your guy, and that's fine.
The easiest way to find out is to send me the address, property type, and the services you're thinking about. I'll put together a quote based on your property.
